Description

This lovely first floor apartment with it's own entrance is a great place for two people to enjoy a self catering holiday in the Lake District. With stunning views from the rear of the property and comfortable, well equipped accommodation we are sure that you will have a great holiday in the Lake District when you stay at Langdale Way.

The well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and dining area looking out over the views is open plan with high ceiling. This room is spacious and homely, so you can happily stay in for a romantic meal or curl up with a good book on a rainy day. On brighter days you can enjoy the furnished private balcony with a morning coffee, looking out to Lingmoor Fell and the little Tarn below. The view from this property really is special! The bathroom with electric shower over bath and double bedroom provide you with everything you need during your stay. You get to wake up to that view as well, with large glazed doors in the bedroom.

There's lots of walks from the door step of Langdale Way, so you'll have a choice of places to explore. From March to the end of November you have access to the swimming pool, sauna and table tennis table on the Neaum Crag Estate. After a day on the fells a relaxing swim could ease those muscles before you head to one of the local pubs! With Skelwith Bridge, Elterwater and Chapel Stile nearby you have a choice of pubs and a local shop. Ambleside, Grasmere and Windermere are just a short drive too.

Reviews

The property is in a stunning location and there are lots of information available to you.

Chris Hunt,

Excellent property to stay while walking and cycling the langdale fells. The service from Good Life Lake District Cottages was excellent, the staff member who dealt with us was very helpful.
