To give our cleaners enough time to complete the additional cleaning and sanitising that is currently needed to keep our guests safe, check-in and check-out times at the majority of our properties have been temporarily revised. The revised times for this property are reflected above.
Lingmoor Lookout can be found in an elevated location, enjoying spectacular views over the Langdale Valley and across to Lingmoor Fell. The south facing terrace with perfectly positioned bench means you can relax in the sun with a glass of wine or morning coffee. The Cottage is a short stroll from Chapel Stile village centre, conveniently close to the local Co-op shop, Brambles Cafe, Wainwrights Inn and also the bus stop if you plan to leave the car behind. There are numerous walks from the door in all directions.
This cosy and well equipped cottage sleeps up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) with a ground floor double room and first floor twin room. The double room is at the back of the property so offers a private and cosy space with wardrobe storage. The twin room features exposed beams, velux roof window, (please note the headroom is restricted in areas of the twin room). The ground floor lounge/diner is a bright space with patio doors leading to the terrace, and also includes a Smart TV . The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, gas hob, combination microwave oven, fridge with freezer box, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The modern bathroom with white suite features shower over bath, WC and basin.
The Wifi signal is strong throughout the property with a highspeed connection.
Off road parking is in a private car park.
NB: The driveway to the property is up a hill, perfectly easy in the car, but not so good for the less able. Please note the property does have sloping gardens and path to the front door which may not be suitable for the elderly or less mobile.
We want our holiday cottages to be a 'home for home'. All the beds are made up ready for you, towels are included so no need to bring those and shower mats are also provided. Two tea towels and a set of oven gloves/oven cloth will be in the kitchen along with a starter pack that includes: washing up liquid, kitchen roll, toilet roll, basic cleaning products, a bin bag in each bin and a few dishwasher tabs. This is just to 'start you off'; you will need to buy your own once these have run out.

Beautiful area, lovely walks.
When holidaying in the Lake District we prefer Elterwater / Chapel Stile area as there are a significant number of walks from the door, the scenery is majestic, and access to the rest of the Lake District is easy.
